Chapter 2: In Which The Hero Of The Icelandic Saga, Njáll Njálsson Makes a First Appearance
It was with a jump that Njáll Njálsson awoke to the sound of his alarm clock sounding. With a fist that once broke two wine glasses over the head of a drunk partygoer, Njáll Njálsson slammed his fist down upon the clock, causing a ringing to resound at a higher volume throughout the room. Njáll Njálsson pulled his thick wool covers around his body, wishing to continue sleeping even further into the Saturday afternoon.
Surely it could have only been by the treachery of Loki that his alarm sound on such a day,
Chapter 1.75: In which (Spoiler Alert) Arinbjörn Predictably Dies So The Plot May Advance
Jakob was quick to pick up on Arinbjörn's flashback. Arinbjörn was busy staring at the picture of a warm Icelandic landscape on the far wall to notice Jakob getting up to use the bathroom. Nature was calling Jakob, and she had just logged his number in her speed dial. He could feel not only the beer he had recently drank pulsing through his bladder, but also the beer he had drunken earlier on in the night as well. All of this liquid was being moved along by a metaphysically liquidated form of the great shame he was feeling for the act he
Chapter 1.5: In Which A Flashback Occurs To The Time In Which The Trip That Arinbjörn Embarked On Occurs A Second Time In Arinbjörn's Mind
Magnus let out a hearty chuckle before pouring another shot on the table in his rather impressive looking sealskin canteen. His club was slung over his shoulder, numerous drops of frozen seal blood on the back. He had used to hunt polar bears, but they had been scarce as of late. Magnus had been told recently that global warming was to blame, but he could do little but laugh at the concept. The globe warming? Did these silly scientists know how impossible that would be? Magnus suppressed the th
Chapter One: The First Chapter
Arinbjörn glanced out the window at the stormy Icelandic countryside before shaking his head, causing his greasy blond hair to quiver for a second before naturally righting itself. The room around him was dark and the floorboards cold, yet Arinbjörn saw no need to turn on a light. The obnoxious glare of the overhead fluorescents would take away his view, and although being in the dark slightly tweaked his nerves, the knowledge that he was alone in his house served as a protector to such a worry.
Arinbjörn was a man of six feet, standing tall and firm, as did many in his fi

Day 1
My alarm hit 7:45, like it had all past days of the year. The routine annoying screech that echoed through the small motel room woke me up with a shudder. My hand darted instinctively to the 'Off' Button. I was tempted to hit snooze, but my desire to sleep in had left me many months ago. Now, I was at the beck and call of the alarm.
I had tried a great many times to wake up before the alarm sounded, but never to any avail. I constantly find myself wishing that at some earlier night I had set the alarm to an earlier time, as to give myself a longer amount of time in my days, but such was a wish that was always in va

Chapter 5: The Coming Storm
The merry trio left the Sushi bar in high spirits, yet with a noticeably smaller amount of money. Elliot and Niko didn't mind at all. Andre, on the other hand, had enough resentment for the two of them. He did keep it to himself though.
"So, now that that one Luc fellow did Andre the disservice of taking his movie away from him, want to still go see 'Path Of The King'?", Niko asked Elliot, causing Andre to groan. Elliot laughed. "Sure!", he agreed, causing Andre to groan further. "Fine, but next time we eat out, you Duel the crazy challenger", Andre said, offering an ultimatum in response.

Chapter 4: Divinity, Fluff, and Wheels.
While the rest of Satellite had undergone a massive makeover with the construction of the Daedalus Bridge, the B.A.D. area had been left to rot. In time the local life vanished from it. Now, it was inhabited almost exclusively by squatters and outlaws, all of the people with the misfortune to be born in Satellite before the bridge was created had left it almost overnight for the city.
The silence of a main street was interrupted for mere moments as the trio of D-Wheels raced down the abandoned stretch of pavement, leaving a small cloud of dust and tire tracks as the only testament
Why I Write: Attack of The Death Sandwich
I think I died once.
It wasn't so bad. It was sort of like being asleep. Although, when I'm asleep, I've never seen myself make a sandwich. It's a strange feeling.
Of course, one would have to wonder what the sandwich represented. I mean, people don't see themselves making sandwiches when they die unless there is some meaning behind the sandwich.
Sadly, try as I might, I can't remember what was in the sandwich. I sort of wonder if somehow remembering what was in the sandwich would change my relationship to it at all. Huh. That's a funny thing to consider. Someone's relationship to his half death

Chapter 3: Getting Sushi, Showing Off, and Showing Down
Andre sighed to himself before downing another glass of water. Niko and Elliot were taking longer to arrive at the sushi bar than he had hoped, and he had been helping himself to the free water ever since, promising the wait staff he would make it up with a more generous order every time they raised eyebrows upon him asking for a refill.
He took a second to survey his surroundings. The bar itself was classy, but not very expensive. It managed to survive mostly in the tourist season, when a majority of travelers would come flocking in for a taste of "authentic" Neo

Chapter 2: Fast Times at D-Wheel High
While no actual munitions had gone off, to any passerby the basement of the Neo Domino City Duelist Academy Student Union could pass as a war zone with no problems at all. Then again, very few passed by it on the outside, and even fewer actually went. An even smaller percent actually went into the basement. The building was nestled tightly into a rather unexciting corner of the academy grounds, an easy twenty minutes away from any of the frequently visited halls in the central part of the academy.
The aftereffects of a D-Wheel test run that had ran afoul could rival any small explosi
